The WSA-mobile (World Summit Award), a global initiative to which aims to select and promote the world’s best in digital content and innovative apps within the framework of, and in cooperation with, the United Nations, selected MB WAY *, as the winner for the Business & Commerce category.
The World Summit Award Mobile, founded in 2010, is held every two years, and once again, shows national innovation and entrepreneurship. Each edition, involves projects from more than 170 countries.
The national selection process is coordinated by APDC, led by Roberto Carneiro, who welcome the winners at APDC’s annual event, the 26º Digital Business Congress. MB WAY will be then evaluated by an international jury that will select the 40 best mobile applications – 5 for each of the 8 categories in the competition.
In previous editions, Portugal has been distinguished, with several projects, chosen among the best in the world. This year, MB WAY is one of those, selected to represent national innovation.
